With over 20 years of experience in the fashion and consumer industries, Christopher Candland has a proven track record of driving growth, optimizing operations, and enhancing profitability for renowned fashion brands.

His career began at Diane von Furstenberg (DVF), where he served as the second-in-command for finance, operations, and logistics. During his tenure, Christopher played a pivotal role in expanding the business globally, achieving consistent year-over-year revenue growth. Notably, he contributed to growing the company from $35 million to approximately $400 million in revenue with a healthy EBITDA.

Subsequently, Christopher joined SMCP Group as CFO and Vice President of Finance and Operations, reporting directly to the Global CEO in Paris. In this role, he had full P&L responsibility and successfully led the launch of SMCP in the US market. Within three years, he established over 80 points of sale, launched two eCommerce platforms, and implemented critical infrastructure improvements to support the massive growth.

Afterward, he served as President at Yigal Azrouel, focusing on revenue generation, profitability, and team expansion. During his tenure, they achieved significant EBITDA growth of over 20% and enhanced product margins. Christopher later held the position of COO and Managing Director at SemSem, where he improved the brand's appeal and operational efficiency while preserving the founder's vision.

Additionally, he led the integration of Bendon Group and Naked Fashion Group, streamlining operations and driving profitability across multiple brands, achieving a 25% boost in eCommerce business and decreasing operating expenses by nearly 20%. Christopher's journey led him to Los Angeles, where he served as the COO of Velvet by Graham & Spencer, successfully restructuring the company and achieving impressive year-over-year growth across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels. This restructure increased overall EBITDA by 25% while growing eCommerce by 30% top-line and reducing operating eCom expenses by more than 15%.

Currently, as CEO of TTSWTRS, a European Designer Brand, he manages all aspects of the business with a strong focus on e-commerce, direct-to-consumer strategies, production, and full business oversight while collaborating with smaller brands along with Venture Capital and Private Equity firms.

Christopher welcomes the opportunity to discuss his qualifications further and learn more about your needs. Please feel free to contact him at your earliest convenience, and he looks forward to the possibility of working together.
